L’amour,
toujours l’amour…
love, always love!

Faithful to this passionate call, this season features some of the finest in romantically inspired repertoire. From Dvořák’s emotionally charged Cello Concerto and the medieval drive of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, to heartwarming holiday favorites and a soulful Black History month celebration, the TSO is all about romancing our
audience in 2009-2010.

It is always my privilege to share the stage with seasoned and emerging guest artists each year, and this season is no exception. The internationally acclaimed cellist Zuill Bailey is certain to take our theme of romance to new heights. Texarkana’s very own Mary Scott Goode is always an inspiration, and vocalists Glenda and Jon Secrest, Tom Irwin, William Parsons, and Candace Taylor will add the finishing touches to our Holiday concert and dramatic season finale.
