The Texarkana Symphony Orchestra's home venue, the Perot Theatre in Texarkana, Texas asks that patrons observe the following performance etiquette:
Give yourself plenty of time to get to the theatre.
Tickets are not sold after the scheduled concert begins, and patrons arriving after concert begins should not expect to be seated immediately.
There is no smoking in the theatre or lobby areas; no food or drink is allowed in the theatre.
Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children younger than school age should not be brought to regular performances.
Please turn off all cell phones, beepers and watch alarms before entering the theatre.
Law prohibits the possession of any photographing or recording devices in the theatre, without the written permission of the management.
Please unwrap all cough drops before the concert begins.
Avoid accoutrements that may make the performance unpleasant for those around you: excessive scents, obstructive hats, jangling bracelets, crinkly plastic bags, etc.
Please refrain from talking, humming, singing or beating time to the music during the performance.
